1. To open the device, press the button located at the top of the device and slide the front panel open as shown in Figure 1. 2. Make sure the device is turned off. In this state, the power button shown in Figure 2 is set to the OFF position. Insert 2 AA batteries into the device and make sure the polarity of the batteries matches the markings on the device (+) (-).
3. Remove the refill canister and lift the internal mechanism located between the batteries so that the gears are exposed. You can use a pencil as shown in the diagram.
4. Reinsert the refill canister into the device with the nozzle facing outward. After inserting the refill and before turning on the device, be sure to point the spray nozzle away from your body, face, open flames, food, and pets. Adjust the spray frequency as needed and close the device. The device will spray at a set interval (every 9, 18, or 36 minutes) according to your selection. You can trigger a spray at any time by pressing and holding the round button on the front of the device. When the batteries or refill run out, open the device as shown in Figure 1. Set the device to the OFF position, then remove the batteries or refill and replace them as described above.
Storage Instructions: Store in a cool, dry place. Do not store under the sink or in damp areas.
